Join the Martha Wagbo Farm and Education Center for our monthly potluck series! Bring a dish to pass if you can, but it's not required. Wagbo provides drinks and table service. This month we will start the program by digging wild parsnip- a notorious invasive pest. But few realize that this is the exact same plant as the domestic parsnip you buy in groceries and farmers markets. It grows wild here at Wagbo, displacing our native boneset, joe pye weed, and goldenrods. Come armed with a shovel and work clothes as we help remove this threat to our native wildflowers (and gather food at the same time!) After we're satisfied that we've harvested enough parsnip, we will move into the farmhouse and enjoy the potluck dinner.
